As a family coming from Rome, we chose to stay at the Holiday Inn Express for our vacation, and we were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere. The hotel offers comfortable rooms, perfect for our family of five, and the added desk space was ideal for continuing our remote work. The short walk to the beach allowed us to enjoy the beauty of Pacific Beach, even if it's not for swimming, the setting is breathtaking. The breakfast spread was a hit with everyone, offering a variety of options to please even the pickiest eaters. Our kids loved the cinnamon rolls, and we appreciated the hot, well-prepared meal options. The pool area was clean and well-maintained, providing a great spot for some family relaxation. The quick access to La Jolla Village was convenient, and we even managed to explore some trails for running and biking.While the street noise was a slight downside, overall, our stay was pleasant, and we would consider returning for another family vacation.
